Every company should not only be committed to achieving business success but should equally bear a social responsibility. We are therefore supporting, among other things, a project to renovate a lecture hall at the University of Mannheim.
| Professorship for Mannheim University
FUCHS sponsers the professorship "Business Administration and Corporate Governance" together with four Mannheim companies which are listed on the stock exchange. The financing of this endowed professorship supports Economics in Mannheim and helps to send a clear message that Mannheim is a real centre for economic excellence. The professorship is limited to a term of five years and is based in the finance department of the Faculty of Business Administration. |
| Campus-TV
We are supporting the very first university television service in Germany which brings together the Universities of Mannheim and Heidelberg as well as the technical college Mannheimer Fachhochschule für Technik und Gestaltung in a magazine program lasting 30 minutes. Research, university-related events and life on campus are all described in a language which is easy to understand. As a flagship scheme, the Campus-TV project is overseen and subsidized by the State Institute for Communications in Stuttgart.
