Cold forming lubricant

RENOFORM 51-DO is an extreme pressure lubricant suitable for a wide variety of cold forming operations on difficult ferrous and non-ferrous alloys. RENOFORM 51-DO provides a lubrication system which maximizes tool life by reducing friction and eliminating metal pick-up on dies and punches. On Sakamura Joto and National Kaiser machines this product is often used mainly for screw-manufacturing. It is a concentrate and can be used as an extreme pressure additive for other cold forming lubricants. Residual films are easily cleaned in conventional cleaning systems.

Benefits of using RENOFORM 51-DO:

  • Provides EP lubrication to prevent metal pick-up on tooling

  • Suitable for a wide variety of cold forming operations

  • Can be used as an EP additive in other cold forming lubricants

  • Easily cleaned in most conventional cleaning systems

  • Non hazardous to use - contains no toxic ingredients

Application:

Can be applied directly to the wire or rod on small one and two die headers. Should be flowed directly on the dies and punches on large headers or parts formers. Usually use as supplied. Can be diluted with blending oil for less difficult operations.
