Semi-synthetic cold forming lubricant, chlorine-free

RENOFORM 319-IS is an extreme pressure lubricant suitable for difficult cold forming operations on cold headers and cold part formers. RENOFORM 319-IS is intended for those operations which generate excessive heat. It provides lubrication which minimizes smoking, staining and varnishing of the lube oil on the parts. RENOFORM 319-IS is inhibited against corrosion of copper and copper alloys and is suitable for use both as a machine lubricant and a die lubricant in nearly all cold parts formers.

Benefits of using RENOFORM 319-IS:

  • Provides extreme pressure lubrication to prevent metal pick-up on tooling

  • Excellent heat carry-off properties allows parts to run cooler

  • Semi-synthetic composition resists oxidation and varnishing of lubricant on the parts

  • Residual films remain oily and are easily cleaned in most conventional cleaning systems

  • Inhibited against corrosion of copper and copper alloys

  • Non hazardous to use - contains no toxic ingredients

Application:

Can be applied directly to the wire or rod on small one and two die headers. Should be flowed directly on the dies and punches on large headers or parts formers. Can be diluted with blending oil for less difficult operations.
