ANTICORIT DFW is a corrosion preventive and dewatering fluid which, when the solvent evaporates, forms a soft, waxy-oily film. This offers excellent corrosion protection, intensive dewatering properties, stability against dragged-in acids and alkalines along with being extremely economical.
ANTICORIT DFW is recommended for the rapid drying and simultaneous protection of metal components and tools; after galvanizing and washing processes for the interim and long-term protection of bare metal surfaces.
ANTICORIT DFW gives galvanized screws a consistent coefficient of friction. Even if the fastener is repeatedly retightened the torque variation remains minimal. The product allows automatic screw and nut drivers with preset torques to work with the utmost of accuracy and reliability.
ANTICORIT DFW complies with the VW TL 52 111 and FORD SZ 600 A specifications concerning friction coefficients and additionally offers good corrosion protection.
Application:
Normally by dipping but if such facilities are not available ANTICORIT DFW can be sprayed. However, all precautions applicable to solvent-based products should be observed. If necessary, please consult the corresponding Material Safety Data Sheet.
If sealed in the original container, ANTICORIT DFW can be stored for min. 5 years at 5 - 40 °C.
