Rapidly biodegradable mould release oils

Considerable quantities of mould release oils pollute the environment when decorative concrete, precast concrete sections and concrete sleepers are being cast.

PLANTO MOULD RELEASE OILS based on environmentally safe raw materials present an ecological alternative to the mineral-oil-based mould release agents. PLANTO MOULD RELEASE OILS are biodegradable and thus harmless to the fauna and flora.

PLANTO MOULD RELEASE OILS have the following features:

Simple, reliable and clean mould removal.

Good economy.

A film of the mould release agent temporarily protects metal parts from corrosion and does not corrode non-ferrous metals.

Almost complete inhibition of blowhole and pore formation and staining.

The PLANTO MOULD RELEASE OILS S and N were awarded the "Blue Angel" environmental seal by the Deutsche Institut für Gütesicherheit und Kennzeichnung e.V. (RAL).

Application:

PLANTO MOULD RELEASE OILS

can be applied to all commonly used shuttering systems using coated chipboard, steel, wood, etc.
A compatibility check shall be made prior to industrial applications, because the application and ambient conditions may influence the properties of the concrete surface and consumption of the mould release oil.

may be applied manually with a brush or oil-resistant spraying device.

mixing with mineral oil or solvents is not at all environmentally safe.

cannot be used for the protection of mixers and machinery, because they may attack lacquer, eastomers or plastic parts in the worst case.

dissolve Styropor if applied all-over. Damage to Styrodur (green) will be less severe. If contact with this material cannot be avoided reduce the quantity to be applied.

are ready-to-use and shall not be diluted with solvents.
